There aren't a lot of compelling reasons, objectively, for leaving quiet tribes--they don't hurt anything.
It's just a matter of personal preference, like having to wade through lists of tribe names that reveal nothing new...
Didn't make ComFest. :-( I was busy with Gay Pride. :-)

I am moving to Columbus! I cannot wait. I am moving to Columbus because I want to meet a diverse crowd. Hope to land a good job or try to continue with internet networking businesses. I just got back from Columbus today, and I put my deposit down for a fantastic apartment at The Big Walnut! I am extremely excited! Most important, I am alive!!
I am a creative, original type of individual and I am ready to meet lots of diverse, exciting people like myself. So please DON'T GO AWAY AND "BE OUTTA HERE"!!

"Big Walnut" refers to several things in the area--it's a creek and a high school, for example, and I have a vague idea that it's the name of a neighborhood as well. Is it the name of your apartment complex? I've never heard of it, despite having lived here for more than half my life.
What part of town is your apartment in? -

Mon, July 31, 2006 - 3:36 PMYes the Big Walnut is in Whitehall. It is an apartment complex off Route 40W on Fairway Ave. Will be moving my furniture and cats there on the 7th of August. Looking forward to making new friends, especially those interested in the arts. Writers, actors, musicians, etc. Always loved a college town/capital city.
